SUMMER GROM TEAM 2024

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Surf Coaching for ages 9-14

  • Pink Pineapple Grom team will meet twice a week for 8 weeks, July 1st - August 23rd, 2024. Practice will take place twice a week from 7:30-9am for a 1 hour and 30 min practice.  

  • Team #1 will meet on Mondays/Wednesdays from 7:30-9am

  • Team #2 will meet on Tuesdays/Thursdays from 7:30-9am.

  • Makeup dates due to weather will be rescheduled for either Friday or Saturday morning of that week from 7:30-9am. We will notify you via email/txt.

  • There will be a max of 15 girls per team give or take.

  • This is a training program for girls that want to advance their surfing skills. We will plan to be in the water as much as possible, however the coaches will add an on-land cross fit training program when needed, depending on the weather and ocean conditions. 

  • PLEASE NOTE: You will not receive credit for a missed days at Grom Team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Every Grom team girl should have their own equipment ( board, leash, wetsuit )   

  • Each Grom team girl is encouraged to partake in the Big Sea Day Surf Contest at the Manasquan inlet in August. 

  • Must have experience catching waves on your own. Independent surfing ability is required.
